Yes, we have moldings in stock for most of our products. For custom orders and materials that do not have moldings stocked, talk to us about getting custom-built moldings.

Embossed in Register (EIR): Premium manufacturing technique where a flooring’s surface texture is aligned with the underlying printed image. This results in a natural-feeling floor, as every grain can both be seen and felt in the same location.

Hardwood: Hardwood wear layers are measured in millimeters (mm). Generally, the thicker the wear layer, the more times a hardwood floor can be sanded and refinished. 1-2 mm wear layers cannot be refinished, whereas 3 and 4 mm layers can be refinished as many as 4 times across its lifespan.

Laminate: Wear layer is measured by its AC rating, going from AC1 to AC5. For high-traffic, pet-owning households, AC4 is durable enough to withstand daily, heavy usage. For quieter households, AC3 can be more cost-effective while still being highly durable.

LVP/SPC: LVP wear layers are measured in Mils (1/1000th of an inch). 20 Mil wear layers offer great protection for any household. For higher-traffic/commercial spaces, 22 Mil can help the flooring last a lot longer. For quiet homes, 12 Mil is budget-friendly and can last just as long as thicker wear layers.

Depending on the product and space of installation, you might want to buy 5%-15% extra square feet of flooring. This is for cuttings, mishaps, and angled corners. Having extra flooring in reserve can also make future repairs much easier.
